Send a Shelter Pet a Valentine 2026 Campaign

The Send a Shelter Pet a Valentine campaign was a 14 day long fundraising and engagement initiative designed to connect the community with shelter animals through small, meaningful acts of support. For a $5 donation, supporters could dedicate a Valentine's treat to a specific shelter pet or allow staff to select a recipient on their behalf. Each dedication was recognized on interactive Heart Walls displayed throughout Cincinnati Animal CARE's facilities, creating both an online and in-person donor experience.

As the campaign's creative lead, I developed the visual identity and designed all campaign assets for digital and print distribution, ensuring a cohesive experience across social media, email marketing, website content, online event pages, in-shelter displays, and promotional materials. I also art directed the campaign's content strategy, coordinating ongoing photo, video, and storytelling assets to maintain momentum, encourage repeat engagement, and keep the campaign visible throughout the two-week fundraising period.

The campaign significantly outperformed expectations, surpassing its original $5,000 fundraising goal and generating $6,765 in donations while engaging 339 unique donors. Its success demonstrated the effectiveness of combining accessible giving opportunities with compelling creative design, multi-channel storytelling, and consistent audience engagement.
