Copycat Tour 2025

The Copycat Tour was a new community engagement and fundraising event created by Cincinnati Animal CARE to celebrate Northside's unique culture while raising awareness and support for shelter animals. Inspired by Milwaukee's beloved Cat Tour tradition, the event invited community members to explore the neighborhood on a guided walking tour featuring local cats showcased in homes, businesses, windows, porches, strollers, and creative costumes. The event blended neighborhood pride, animal advocacy, and grassroots fundraising into a one-of-a-kind experience designed to build community connections and elevate the shelter's presence within Northside.

As the creative lead for the event's marketing and promotional efforts, I developed the visual identity and designed the core campaign assets used throughout the event lifecycle. This included event flyers, social media graphics, promotional materials, and the official tour map that guided attendees through participating homes and businesses. I also creative directed promotional photography sessions to establish the event's playful, community-focused personality and create a library of marketing assets for use across digital and print channels.

In addition to visual design, I executed the event's digital marketing strategy through email newsletters, website content, event listings, social media promotion, and community outreach materials. My goal was to create a cohesive campaign that introduced an entirely new event concept to the public, generated excitement among cat lovers and Northside residents, and established the foundation for a recurring annual tradition.

The project demonstrates my ability to build and market a new community event from the ground up, combining branding, creative direction, print design, digital marketing, and audience engagement into a cohesive campaign experience.
